Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-08-03

Our full Privacy Policy is being finalized. We collect only what's needed to provide the service: your account info, prayer activity, and recordings you choose to share. We never sell your data.

Audience measurement

We measure how the site is used with analytics software we host ourselves, on our own server. Nothing is sent to Google or any other third party, and this data never leaves our infrastructure.

What is recorded: the pages visited, how long a visit lasts, the site or search engine that referred you, your browser, operating system and device type, and the country you are visiting from.

No cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device. Your IP address is used only for a moment, to determine your country, and is then discarded — it is never stored. Visitors are counted using an identifier that is regenerated every day, so no one can be followed from one day to the next.

Because page addresses are recorded, these statistics can show which parts of the siddur are being opened. They are never connected to your account or to you as an identifiable person, and they are never linked from one day to the next.

We honour your browser's "Do Not Track" setting. If you have it enabled, nothing is recorded at all.

Country at sign-up

When you create an account we store the country you registered from, as a two-letter code such as IL or FR, so we can understand where our community is growing. It is worked out from your connection at that moment; your IP address itself is never stored. This is separate from any country you choose to show on your profile, and it is deleted when your account is deleted.
